Employment Notice No. ECoR/RRC/SPQ (OA)/2011-2012 Recruitment Against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the Year 2011-12
Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible Sportspersons who are Indian Nationals for recruitment against Sports Quota(Open Advt.) in East Coast Railway in the vacancies indicated below. All vacancies (22 ) are in Pay Band-1(Rs.5200-20200/-), but in different Grade Pays.
- In Grade Pay of Rs.2800/- & Rs.2400/-:-Vacancy—03 for ECoR H/Q
- In Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- & Rs. 1900/-:-Vacancy—09 for ECoR H/Q
- In Grade Pay of Rs.188/-Total vacancy:-10 (ECoR H/Q-04, Khurd—02, Sambalpur—02 & Waltair—02 )
1.Educational Qualification:-Candidates should possess requisite academic qualification. Those who are appearing at and/or awaiting results of final examination are not eligible.

| 2400/- | Matriculation or its equivalent with 80 wpm in Shorthand( English) for a duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in tying in 65 minutes.(OR) Matriculation or its equivalent with 30 wpm in Shorthand(Hindi) for a duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in typing in 75 minutes. |
| 1900/- & 2000/- | Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.(50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates and for candidates having higher qualification. |
| 1800/- | Passed in 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized board. |
Age Limits:- 18 to 23 years as on 01.01.2012. No age relaxation is allowed even for SC/ST/OBC candidates .
Application Fee:- Rs.60/- for Grade Pay of 2800/- & 2400/- and Rs. 40/- for Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-,1900/- & 1800/- by D/D or IPO for UR & OBC categories. Other reserved category candidates are exempted from application fees.
