B.Ed Admission-2012
Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET-2012) for the year 2012 will be conducted by for admission into B.Ed regular course in Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012-2013 ,Interested eligible candidates may obtain prescribed application form with instructions booklet in person on payment of Rs 150/- in cash from the designated Head Post Offices and designated Axis Bank Branches in Andhra Pradesh
Eligibility EdCET-2012: The candidates should have passed B.A./B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (Home Science)/BCA/BBM examination from any University in Andhra Pradesh or a recognized University out side Andhra Pradesh
The candidates who are appearing for final year degree examinations in 2012 are also eligible to appear for entrance examination
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the bachelor’s degree or in the master’s degree in the relevant subject or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission into B.Ed course
However the candidates belonging to all reserved categories should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination

- The qualifying mark in the entrance test for all candidates is 37 out of 150 (25%)
- For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities there will be no qualifying marks for ranking
- There will be no qualifying marks for women in the subjects of Physical Sciences and Mathematics
- The candidates should have completed 19 years of age as on 01st July, 2012
