  • Financial Service Executives : Qualification : Graduate from a recognised University. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree /Diploma in Marketing/Management. चुनाव में जन प्रतिनिधि की कैसे जब्त होती है जमानत?

यदि किसी प्रत्याशी को कुल हुए मतदान के 1/6 वोट भी नहीं मिलते हैं तो उसकी जमानत जब्त हो जाती है। उदाहरण के तौर पर यदि किसी चुनाव में कुल एक लाख मत पड़े तो उम्मीदवार को अपनी जमानत राशि बचाने के लिए कम से कम 16667 वोट प्राप्त करने होंगे।

नियमानुसार एक सीट पर हुए चुनाव में पड़े वैध मतों का 1/6 हिस्से से अधिक वोट मिलने चाहिए, तभी उसकी जमानत बच सकती है। यदि प्रत्याशी को इतने वोट भी नहीं मिल पाते हैं तो उसकी जमानत जब्त हो जाती है। इसके चलते उस प्रत्‍याशी की ओर से नामांकन पत्र दाखिल करते वक्त जमा कराए गए रुपये जब्त कर लिए जाते हैं। हालांकि जो उम्मीदवार अपनी जमानत बचाने में कामयाब हो जाते हैं उन्हें जमानत के रूप में जमा किए गए रुपये बाद में वापस मिल जाते हैं।
