Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) requires faculties on the post of Assistant Professor in the pay scale of Rs.15600 to 39100 + Rs.6000 AGP. So, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) invites applications from Well Educated and Experienced Candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in various disciplines.
Candidates having good academic records and who fulfill all the Conditions made by JNU for the post of Assistant Professor may apply in prescribed application format and send their application to JNU within 30 days from publication date of this notification in the employment news. More details regarding the post can be seen in the following paragraph. Candidates must go through the details before applying.
Position: Assistant Professor
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 to 39100 + Rs.6000 AGP (PB-3)
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree with 50% Marks in relevant subjects
• Good Academic Record
• Master of Philosophy and Doctorate Degree in concerned area
• Candidates should have Qualified NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC, CSIR
• Candidates having Doctorate degree as per University Grant Commission (UGC) are not required to be Qualified in NET (National Eligibility Test)
• Candidates must have Research and Teaching Experience in Colleges and University

Interested candidate may have prescribed application Form from the office of JNU after payment of Rs.500 or it can be had through post by sending a written request with demand Draft of Rs.520 in favour of “Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Payable at Delhi in a Self Addressed Envelop of 24*30 to “The Section Officer, Recruitment Cell, Room No. 131, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi – 110067”.
Candidates may also download Application form through the official Website of JNU and at the time of sending application, candidates will have to send a demand draft of Rs.500 in favour of & Payable at same as above
How to apply:
Duly filled application in all respect must reach the University within 01 Month from publication date of this notification in Employment News. I.e. Application must reach the above addressed on or before 26/12/2011 on Monday.
