Applications are being invited by Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VIZAG STEEL), a Navratna Company and India’s first shore-based integrated Steel plant for the recruitment of Specialist or Junior Specialist in General Medicine or Anaesthesia discipline, Assistant Executive and Technician post from eligible and Qualified candidates on contract basis for its 160 bed modern Hospital at Visakhapatnam. This information came through the Notification No – 07/2011. Name of Post: – Specialist or Junior Specialist.
Discipline: – General Medicine.
Total Vacant Seat: – 02 seats (UR-01, OBC-01).
Applicants Age Limitation: – Applicants age should be not more than 40 years for General Category Candidates and 43 years for OBC category candidates as on 01st December 2011.
Remuneration: -
- For Specialist Post: – Pay Scale Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- (E-3) Per Month.
- For Junior Specialist Post: – Pay Scale Rs. 24900-3%-50500/- (E-2) Per Month.
Academic Qualification: – Applicants must have Post Graduate Degree in related discipline such as: MD or DNB from any Institution or University which is recognized by Medical Council of India.
Experience: – Applicants having at least three years post qualification working experience in any recognized State or Central Govt. or Corporate or Industrial Hospital or Institution.

Discipline: – Anaesthesia.
Total No. of Vacant Seat: – 02 seats (UR-01, ST-01).
Maximum Age Limitation: – Applicants age should be not more than 40 years for UR category candidates and 45 years for ST category candidates as on 01st December 2011.
Salary: – Sane as above post.
Educational Qualification: – Same as above Post.

Discipline: – QA&TD.
Total No of Vacant Seat: – 02 seats (UR-01, ST-01).
Applicants Age Limitation: – Applicants age should be not more than 30 years for UR category candidates and 35 years for ST category candidates as on 01st December 2011.
Remuneration: – Pay Scale Rs. 16400-3%-40500/- (E-0) Per Month.
Qualification: – Applicants having Master Degree in Microbiology discipline from any recognized Institution or University with at least 60% Marks are eligible for this recruitment.
Experience: – Applicants must have Post Qualification working experience in any Chemical Industry.

Discipline: – QA and TD
Vacant Seat: – 06 seats (UR-03, OBC-02, SC-01).
Applicants Age Limitation: -
- For UR Category: – Maximum 28 years.
- For OBC Category: – Maximum 31 years.
- For SC Category: – Maximum 33 years.
Remuneration: – Pay Scale Rs. 9160-3%-13150/- (S-3) Per Month.
Academic Qualification: – Applicants must have full time Bachelor Degree in Science with Chemistry discipline from any recognized Institution or University with at least 60% marks.
Working Experience: – At least three years post qualification experience in any Chemical Industry.
Selection Process: – Applicants selection will be based on: -
- For Specialist or Junior Specialist: – Interview.
- For Technician and Assistant Executive Post: – Written Test and Interview.
Selection Venue: – This interview will be held at Visakhapatnam.
