National Thermal Power Corporation Limited has called for applications from eligible Doctors to work for its projects/stations. Here are the details regarding the notification issued by the corporation in this regard:
Name of the Vacancies: Doctors (E2A/E3 Levels)
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 30, which is divided among different categories of candidates as given below:
o UR – 14
o OBC – 13
o SC – 12
o ST – 01
These 30 vacancies include backlog vacancy of two posts and this post is identified suitable for OA (one arm) and OL (one leg) candidates.
The position is applicable for specialties like Ophthalmology, ENT, Anesthesia, Surgery, O & G, pediatrics, orthopaedics, radiology and medicine.
Pay Scale: For E2A position, the pay scale will be Rs.24900-50500, while for E3 position, it is Rs.29100-54500
Eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification:
The Educational qualification requirement for E2A/E3 positions is MBBS with MD/MS in appropriate discipline. E2A position is applicable only for Radio Diagnosis specialty for which candidates must have completed their MBBS with PG Diploma in Radiology and all these qualifications must have been recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Experience requirement:
• E3 Level – Minimum one year experience or practice after MD/MS
• E2A Level – Fresh MD/MS qualified doctors
• E2A Level (only for radio-diagnosis) – minimum two years experience or practice after diploma
Age requirement: upper age limit to apply for the position of doctors for E2A/E3 level candidates is 37 years.
Application fee:
Application fee to be paid by general category candidates is Rs.300 and this fee should be paid only through online mode. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Once online application is submitted, candidates can get a registration slip with unique number and copy of this slip should be preserved by the candidates for future reference. The online application should be submitted from 16th of November 2011 to 06th of December 2011.
