Period of Training : For Sl. No.1,3,& 6 are two years and for rest three are three years,

Stipends for the Trades:

(i ) First year: Rs 1090/- per month

( ii ) Second year: Rs 1240/- per month

( iii ) Third year : Rs. 1440/- per month.

Security and Conditions : Every Apprentice will be bond by means of contract in such a form as may be prescribed by the Government which is executed by the guardian to provide inter-alia refund of cost Training to the employer as prescribed under the rules. In case the Apprentice fail to complete the training he/ she will be governed under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 of the Apprenticeship Rule,1962 made there under.

Training Centre :The Basic Training of the first, second & third year Shop Floor training will be arranged at Govt. of India Press, Minto Road ,New Delhi-110002.

It shall not be obligatory on the part of the employer to offer any employment to the Apprentice on successful completion of training.

How to Apply :

Application in the format ( Annexure-I) neatly typed on a plane paper together with attested copies of Certificates in support of Educational Qualification, Age and claim of reservation ( only for SC,ST and PH category ) should reach the General Manager,Govt. of India Press, Minto Road , New Delhi-110002 latest by 19.11.2011. Separate application for each trade will only be considered.
